<h1>April-July 2025 exports rise 5.23% to $277.63B; merchandise +3.07%, services +7.86%, services surplus $63.53B, trade deficit $31.28B</h1> The reporting authority estimates total exports (merchandise and services) for April-July 2025 at US$277.63 billion, up 5.23% year-on-year, with merchandise exports of US$149.20 billion (+3.07%) and services exports of US$128.43 billion (+7.86%), producing a services surplus of US$63.53 billion. Total imports for April-July 2025 are estimated at US$308.91 billion (+4.25%), yielding a trade deficit of US$31.28 billion. Monthly July 2025 figures show exports of US$68.27 billion and imports of US$79.99 billion. Key export growth sectors include engineering, electronic goods, gems & jewellery, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
