<h1>Prime Minister launches Rs 12,200 crore development projects across Bihar and West Bengal covering multiple sectors</h1> The Prime Minister will launch development projects worth Rs 7,200 crore in Bihar and over Rs 5,000 crore in West Bengal. In Bihar, projects include rail infrastructure improvements like automatic signaling and line doubling worth Rs 580 crore, road development including 4-laning of highway bypass, new Software Technology Parks facilities in Darbhanga and Patna, and fisheries development under the Matsya Sampada Yojana. Four new Amrit Bharat trains will be flagged off connecting various cities. The PM will release Rs 400 crore to 61,500 Self-Help Groups and Rs 160 crore for housing beneficiaries. In West Bengal, projects include a Rs 1,950 crore City Gas Distribution project, dedication of the Durgapur-Kolkata natural gas pipeline section, and pollution control systems for thermal power stations worth Rs 1,457 crore. These initiatives span rail, road, rural development, fisheries, IT, oil and gas, and power sectors.
