New tax regime rates revised, introducing tiered marginal tax bands and expanded nil-tax threshold for FY26. The FY26 Budget revises the new tax regime by prescribing tiered marginal tax bands with increasing rates across successive income ranges. It also enlarges the nil-tax threshold under the new regime, applying a zero-tax band up to a specified income level for general taxpayers and a higher threshold for salaried taxpayers reflecting the standard deduction adjustment.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
