Taxpayers Urged to Integrate Alternate Mechanisms for e-Invoice and e-Waybill Systems to Ensure Business Continuity.
The advisory informs taxpayers about business continuity plans for the e-Invoice and e-Waybill systems, emphasizing the importance of integrating alternate mechanisms. Six Invoice Registration Portals (IRPs) are available for redundancy, with NIC-IRP 1 and 2 being interoperable. Two portals are also provided for e-Waybill operations. A unified authentication token can be used across all NIC portals, simplifying access. Taxpayers are encouraged to ensure their systems support cross-portal operations, coordinate with service providers, and explore additional IRPs to maintain seamless operations during disruptions. Further assistance is available through system integrators and the GST helpdesk.
