<h1>April 2023 GST Revenue Hits Record Rs. 1.87 Lakh Crore, Up 12% from Last Year, with Highest Single-Day Collection.</h1> GST revenue collection for April 2023 reached an all-time high of Rs. 1.87 lakh crore, marking a 12% increase from April 2022. This includes Rs. 38,440 crore from CGST, Rs. 47,412 crore from SGST, Rs. 89,158 crore from IGST, and Rs. 12,025 crore from cess. The government settled Rs. 45,864 crore to CGST and Rs. 37,959 crore to SGST from IGST, resulting in total revenues of Rs. 84,304 crore for the Centre and Rs. 85,371 crore for the States. The highest single-day tax collection was Rs. 68,228 crore on April 20, 2023. E-way bill generation in March 2023 rose by 11% compared to February 2023.
