<h1>Ministry of Finance Releases Rs. 7,183.42 Crore Revenue Deficit Grant to 14 States Under Article 275.</h1> A Revenue Deficit Grant of Rs. 7,183.42 crore has been released to 14 states by the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, as the 8th monthly installment for the fiscal year 2022-23. This grant is part of the Rs. 86,201 crore recommended by the Fifteenth Finance Commission to cover the revenue-expenditure gap post-devolution. So far, Rs. 57,467.33 crore has been distributed this year. The states receiving the grant include Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal, under Article 275 of the Constitution.
