The government settled Rs. 23,043 crore to CGST and Rs. 19,139 crore to SGST from IGST, with an additional Rs. 24,000 crore as IGST ad-hoc settlement. Total revenue for the Centre and States was Rs. 55,565 crore and Rs. 57,744 crore, respectively. August 2021 revenues were 30% higher than the previous year, indicating economic recovery post-COVID restrictions. State-wise, GST collections showed significant growth, with notable increases in states like Maharashtra and Karnataka.
