of <h1>Delhi GST Officials Arrest Man for Rs. 831.72 Crore Tax Evasion in Gutkha, Pan Masala, and Tobacco Operation.</h1> The Central GST Delhi West Commissionerate has arrested an individual for evading approximately Rs. 831.72 crore in duties through the illegal manufacture and supply of gutkha, pan masala, and tobacco products without registration or duty payment. A raid revealed an unregistered factory with 65 laborers, machines, and raw materials, resulting in the seizure of goods valued at around Rs. 4.14 crore. The arrested person is accused of violating provisions of the CGST Act, 2017, and has been placed in judicial custody. Ongoing investigations aim to identify additional conspirators and recover tax dues. The Delhi Zone has detected Rs. 4,327 crore in evasion this financial year, resulting in 15 arrests.
