The average time for investigations was reduced to 234 days. India played a pivotal role in global medical supplies during COVID-19, exporting hydroxychloroquine to 114 countries. The Government e-Marketplace saw transactions surpass Rs. 74,552 crore. Efforts to enhance ease of doing business included electronic governance and trade facilitation. The department also focused on reducing non-essential imports, promoting exports, and strengthening trade infrastructure and logistics.
