of <h1>E-Way Bill Generation Blocked for Non-Filers; Online Unblocking Now Available via GSTN Portal.</h1> From December 1, 2020, the E-Way Bill (EWB) generation facility is blocked for all taxpayers failing to file returns in FORM GSTR-3B or FORM GST CMP-08 for two consecutive tax periods. Taxpayers can now apply online to unblock this facility through the GSTN portal, a process previously done offline. To assist taxpayers, GSTN organized a webinar on December 14, 2020, discussing the online application process for unblocking EWB generation. The webinar was conducted in Hindi and available via a YouTube link for participants to join.
