<h1>Nominate Now: National CSR Awards Open for Nominations Until September 30, 2018; Recognizing Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs is inviting nominations for the inaugural National CSR Awards, with a deadline of September 30, 2018. Nominations are open to government ministries, state and UT governments, professional institutions, and national trade and industry chambers. Companies can apply through these organizations. The awards recognize excellence in corporate social responsibility across three categories: Corporate Awards for Excellence in CSR, CSR in Challenging Circumstances, and contributions to National Priority Schemes. A total of 20 main awards and several honorable mentions will be given. The initiative aims to encourage corporate innovation and sustainable development in alignment with the Companies Act, 2013.
