<h1>Six More States to Implement Intra-State e-Way Bill System by April 20, 2018, for Streamlined Goods Transport.</h1> The e-Way Bill system for inter-State movement of goods was implemented on April 1, 2018. By April 15, 2018, six states-Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh-had adopted the system for intra-State goods movement, generating over 133 lakh e-Way Bills by April 17. Starting April 20, 2018, Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Uttarakhand will also implement the intra-State e-Way Bill system. This expansion aims to streamline goods transport and move towards a unified national e-Way Bill system. Businesses in these states are encouraged to register on the e-Way Bill portal promptly.
