Market leader Maruti Suzuki India saw a 22.4% increase in domestic sales, driven by its compact segment. Tata Motors, Ford India, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Honda Cars India also experienced double-digit growth. Hyundai Motor India reported a modest 4.38% increase. In commercial vehicles, Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland recorded growth, while in two-wheelers, Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, and TVS Motor Company saw substantial sales increases. Tractor sales also rose, with Escorts Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra reporting growth.
