of <h1>Pre-packaged Insolvency Process: Moratorium Declared, Resolution Professional Appointed Under IBC Section 54E and IBBI Regulation 19.</h1> Under Section 54E of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), upon the commencement of a pre-packaged insolvency resolution process, the Adjudicating Authority must declare a moratorium and appoint a resolution professional. The moratorium, effective from the order date until the process concludes, applies to proceedings under this chapter. The resolution professional, named in the application or recommended by the Board if disciplinary issues exist, must publicly announce the process initiation as specified in Regulation 19 of the 2021 IBBI Regulations.
