of <h1>27 Banks Approved for e-Payment of Central Excise, Service Tax, and Customs Duty via Internet Banking</h1> Certain banks are authorized to collect Central Indirect Taxes, including Customs Duty, Central Excise Duty, and Service Tax. The Pr. Chief Controller of Accounts and the Reserve Bank of India have approved 27 banks to collect Central Excise Duty and Service Tax via internet banking. These banks include Allahabad Bank, Bank of Baroda, and State Bank of India, among others. Similarly, for Customs Duty, banks like State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, and Bank of India are authorized to facilitate e-Payment through ICEGATE. For the most current information, the EASIEST or ICEGATE websites should be consulted.
