of <h1>New EOU Policy Provision Allows IT and Tech Park Employees to Work from Home with Authorization Under Para 6.7.5</h1> In 2013, significant changes were introduced to the 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) Scheme as part of the Foreign Trading Policy's annual supplement. A new provision, Para 6.7.5, was added to the Handbook of Procedures, allowing authorized personnel of IT-related EOUs, Software Technology Parks (STP), Electronic Hardware Technology Parks (EHTP), and Biotechnology Parks (BTP) to work from home or outside the unit. This is contingent upon obtaining specific authorization detailing the duration, ensuring the unit's responsibility for supervision and preventing misuse, and mandating that all exports occur from the unit's premises.
