<h1>Export Units Can Make Domestic Sales Under FTP Para 6.8(a) & HOP Para 6.14, Needs Development Commissioner Approval.</h1> Under the 100% Export Oriented Unit Scheme, units can engage in Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) sales as per Paragraph 6.8(a) of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and Paragraph 6.14 of the Handbook of Procedures (HOP). The guidelines are detailed in Appendix 14-I-H of HOP, Vol. I. Units may avail DTA sales on a quarterly, half-yearly, or annual basis, within three years of entitlement accrual. Applications must be submitted to the Development Commissioner, certified by an independent accountant, and endorsed by the Central Excise bond officer. Authorization from the Development Commissioner is required for DTA sales.
