State coordination committee for GST: mandated data sharing and coordinated action against fake input tax credit and evasion.

A State Co ordination Committee, constituted under the GST Council Secretariat Office Memorandum (F. No. 820/GRC/GSTC/2019), will include State and Central GST authorities to facilitate data sharing, coordinated action against fake input tax credit and tax evasion, and to refer matters necessitating amendments to enactments, rules, or administrative instruments; the Committee must meet quarterly and its meetings are to be followed by National Co ordination Committee meetings.
