Modification of benefits under the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programme incorporates additional privileges assigned by the mid term review of the Foreign Trade Policy, amends CBEC Circular No.33/2016 Cus., and references Circular No.3/2018 Customs. Processing of AEO applications has been decentralised to expand programme reach, expedite certification, and advance trade facilitation and ease of doing business.
