Government servants are ineligible for rewards under the Benami Transactions Informants Reward Scheme when the information or evidence was obtained in the course of their normal official duties; persons employed by Central or State Governments, Union Territory Governments, nationalized banks, local authorities, public sector undertakings, or corporations set up or owned by those governments fall within this exclusion.
