Jewellery re-import rules under courier regulations now specify tariff classifications and electronic declaration requirements.

Amendments to the Courier Import and Exports (Electronic Declaration and Processing) Regulations by Notification No. 57/2022 govern re import of jewellery via courier, covering (a) precious metal jewellery under CTH 7113 with specified exclusions and (b) imitation jewellery under CTH 7117, and require compliance with the electronic declaration and processing framework and related circular guidance.
