Export Oriented Units in agricultural and aquaculture sectors may import specified goods duty-free under the notifications and Foreign Trade Policy, subject to compliance with those conditions. Large-area EOUs not amenable to customs supervision are exempt from customs bonding and cost-recovery supervision, while units on bondable premises remain subject to bonding. EOUs processing agricultural produce may move specified goods to contract farmers' fields and bring back produce for processing for export, consistent with notification and policy conditions.
