Intimation

Guest

Hello Everyone,

Our's is Manufacturing concern....and we have started commercial production during the month of June,2012....can u please tell  me is there any provision in Central Excise Act that we have to intimate to Excise Dept regarding start of commercial production ......

if YES is that it should be communicated through paper or online???

PLEASE HIGHLIGHT THE PROVISION /SECTION OF CENTRAL EXCISE ACT....

Manufacturing firm questions if Central Excise Act mandates notification to Excise Department for starting commercial production. A manufacturing company inquired about the requirement to notify the Excise Department upon starting commercial production, which began in June 2012. They sought clarification on whether such intimation is mandated by the Central Excise Act and if it should be communicated via paper or online. The query was addressed by another participant through a personal message, without a public response detailing the specific provisions or sections of the Central Excise Act. (AI Summary)
