Export to Nepal treated as regular export; no excise concession and remittance may be received in Indian rupees.
Export consignments from a 100% Export Oriented Unit to Nepal are to be processed under the same procedural and fiscal regime as other foreign exports; no excise duty benefit is to be extended for Nepal. Remittance for such exports may be received in Indian rupees, and exporters must follow standard export documentation, bond usage, and foreign exchange compliance applicable to exports generally. Recently there was a change in the Indo Nepal Trade Treaty and according to that change, No benefit of excise duty would be given to Nepal's King.  Export to Nepal will be treated at par with others' countries export.  The same procedure will be applicable.

Further, As per RBI clarification, Remittance can be received in India Rupees also.
