Indemnity Bond - Exchang Control Copy

Exchange Control Copy loss: reconstructed bill of entry with Commissioner attestation and FIR typically replaces indemnity bond requirement.
Loss of the Exchange Control Copy of a Bill of Entry is remedied by obtaining a reconstructed copy from the CHA, attested by the Commissioner of Customs, and lodging an FIR; with these documents an indemnity bond is not ordinarily required. (AI Summary)

Respected All,

We have misplaced our Exchange Control Copy. We have to remit the payment and Our Bank is asking for "Indemnity Bond" alongwith other documents.

Can you, please provide me the format of Indemnity Bond for Loss of Exchang Control Copy.

Best Regards.

Pradeep Kaushik
