Individual Seeks Guidance on Canceling Excise Invoice and ARE-1 for Undispatched Export Consignment An individual inquired about the options available for an export consignment where the excise invoice, ARE-1, packing list, and supporting documents were prepared, but the dispatch did not occur. The query was whether the excise invoice and ARE-1 could be canceled to bill the material against a new order. Two experts advised contacting the jurisdictional range officer to explain the situation, as the documents were prepared but the goods were not dispatched, to resolve the issue. (AI Summary)
