Which Taxes are Applicable for Contract

Works contract valuation governs tax treatment: allocate deductions to determine taxable value of goods and service elements.
The value of goods transferred in a works contract is calculated by deducting from the total contract price amounts attributable to labour and services, subcontract payments, design and related charges, machinery hire, non-transferred consumables, establishment and similar expenses, and contractor profit relatable to labour and services; where accounts are inadequate, prescribed lump-sum percentage deductions by contract type may be applied, and the resulting value is the sale/purchase price of the goods for tax purposes.
