about query of turnover .

MEHUL ASHAR

Respected Sir,

You guided me well in the query of imported goods, just I want to ask that the credit u are telling of taking 100% of addl.duty is valied for the ssi exemption or any excisable unit, as we are an excisable unit & not availing the ssi exemption

CENVAT credit available on Special Additional Duty for excisable units, including those not under SSI exemption. An excisable unit, whether or not availing SSI exemption, may avail 100% CENVAT credit on the Special Additional Duty portion of import duty, treating the SAD element as eligible input credit under the CENVAT mechanism.
