about the vat rate of selling raw material

MEHUL ASHAR

Respected  Sir,

If I Want to sale the raw material on which CST @2% is charged then I have to charge 2% or 5%, as i am charging 5% vat on my finished goods.

Clarification on CST Rates: 2% with C Form, 5% Without for Raw Material Sales A user inquired about the appropriate VAT rate for selling raw materials, questioning whether to charge 2% or 5% CST, given that 5% VAT is applied to their finished goods. A respondent clarified that if the buyer provides a C form, the raw materials can be sold at a 2% CST rate. Without the C form, the seller must apply a 5% CST rate. (AI Summary)

Against C form you can sell the rawmaterial @ 2%.  If the buyer is not able to provide the C form, then, you would have to charge CST @ 5%.
