Please let me know the FDI limits for starting a Restaurant in India. Either it is under automatic route or approval?

You must be talking about the consolidated FDI policy. I doubt will it come in para 6.2.11 under Construction development or not?

As per my understandiing except the clear restrictions or specified limits, 100% FDI is allowed under automatic route in any industry as I don't see any specific statements for a resturants business in FDI policy

whether my contention is right?
