Amount of Form H

VIjay Lagad

We had sold some goods against Form H. In the invoice we have added cost of packing & forwarding to the party ? Now party had issud us Form H for Cost only & not for the cost of packing & forwading. Is it correct or we should demand Form H for all amount (Inclusive of packing & forwarding)

Thanks & regards

Vijay Lagad

Form H Must Cover Total Invoice, Including Packing & Forwarding, Under Section 2(25) of Maharashtra VAT Act. A user raised a query about whether Form H should cover the total invoice amount, including packing and forwarding charges, when selling goods. A respondent clarified that under Section 2(25) of the Maharashtra Value Added Tax Act, the sale price includes all charges except separately charged insurance or installation costs. Therefore, Form H should encompass the total amount, including packing and forwarding. The user requested additional documentation, but the respondent indicated that the legal definition should suffice and suggested consulting legal counsel for further clarification. (AI Summary)
