CLAIM OF DEPB INRESPECT OF SHIPPING BILL AMENDMENT

Dear Sirs, my question is regarding claim of depb against shipping bill amendment. Earlier one shipping bill generated in currency USD instead of Euro. Later on customs issued amendment to the shipping bill manually, where they have mentioned all corrected details. My problem is that at present while submission of DEPB application, DGFT system showing old data i.e data before amendment. In the said situation how can i claim DEPB of amendment shipping bill. Please guide me in this regard.

On the basis of amended Shipping bill you can claim DEPB.  Further, if it is EDI S/B then you would have to get it corrected in the systems.  For this you would have to present your case to the Hon'ble Commissioner of Customs and simultaneously to the DGFT about this mistake and subsequent amendment with all relevant documents.
