FBT AND TDS

One Particular expenditure attaract FBT. For same expenditure we have to deduct tds. Please clarifty the same.
Fringe Benefit Tax abolished; this does not alter TDS obligations on the same expenditure in practice. Responses state that Fringe Benefit Tax was abolished and that FBT has no direct correlation with TDS; TDS obligations on a payment are assessed under TDS provisions irrespective of FBT treatment.
