Guidance on Returning Goods from SEZ to DTA Without Duties: Refer to SEZ Rules 50 and 51. A query was raised regarding the procedure for returning goods from a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) unit to a Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) supplier due to technical rejections or oversupply, without incurring duties and levies. The response advised consulting Rule 50 and Rule 51 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006, which cover the temporary removal of goods from SEZ areas to DTA units. (AI Summary)
