DEPB ENTITLEMENT

Anil Gagneja
WE ARE MANUFACTURE OF ASSEMBLED PCB USED FOR EPABX SYSTEME, WHETHER WE FALL UNDER DEPB CODE 83/19
DEPB entitlement for electronic switching system components: assembled PCBs for EPABX may qualify, subject to DGFT interpretation. DEPB entitlement for assembled PCBs used in EPABX systems is asserted to fall under product category 83/19 for Electronic Switching Systems including EPABX, but DGFT personnel dispute applicability to assembled cards; the manufacturer requests interpretative support to establish eligibility for the DEPB benefit under that classification. You should be eligible for the benefit of DEPB prescribed against serial no. 19 of product category 83=Electronics, which is read as, "Electronic Switching Systems including RAX/MAX/TAX/EPABX/KTS"

Dear Sir

DGFT personnel refuse our case that the DEPB iof S.No. 83/19 s entitle for EPABX not for  assembled cards. Kindly give us the backup to take the matter with DGFT.
