updated return filed still want to do correction

AIJAZ KAZI

respected experts

i have filed updated return for the f.y.21-22(A.Y.22-23) now still i want to do some corrections which are must to do so what should i do because updated return can be filed only once for every A.Y.,date for revised return also gone(31/12/22) can i file rectification of return. please suggest me some best way out (as corrections to be done are necessary.).

Rectification of income tax return may require contacting the jurisdictional tax officer when revision windows are closed. A taxpayer who has already filed an updated return seeks further corrections after the window for filing a revised return has closed; the advised course is to consult the jurisdictional income tax officer to explore remedial or rectification options and departmental correction subject to applicable procedural rules. It is better to contact the jurisdictional Income Tax Officer in this regard.
