Wrong document submitted in response to SCN

Sushma Prasad

Hi Folks,

Whether wrong document submitted in response to the SCN can be condoned considering a procedural lapse? P.S.- A incorporation certificate of a wrong entity was mistakenly filed instead of another entity.

Please let me know

Submitting Correct Document for GST SCN Error: Guidance on Rectifying Procedural Mistake Before Personal Hearing An individual inquired about the possibility of rectifying a procedural error where a wrong incorporation certificate was submitted in response to a Show Cause Notice (SCN) under Goods and Services Tax (GST). Three responses suggested submitting the correct document to the Adjudicating Authority before the personal hearing and requesting the return of the incorrect document. The respondents agreed that this was a minor human error and advised submitting a covering letter and, if possible, meeting with the concerned officer to resolve the issue. (AI Summary)
