PMT 09 | Cash transfer to inactive GSTN

Sourabh Jolly

Dear Experts,

We have transfer the electronic cash ledger from one GSTIN to another inactive GSTIN inadvertently through Form GST PMT-09.

The recipient GSTN is inactive and we can't able to do anything for further transfer. We don't have login credentials for any action and have no details related to jurisdiction office of such inactive GSTN.

Kindly suggest the solution to transfer our pending cash from inactive GSTN to active GSTN or any other suitable solution.

Thanks,

User Struggles with Incorrect Fund Transfer to Inactive GSTIN, Faces Login and Jurisdiction Hurdles Under Form GST PMT-09. A user inadvertently transferred funds from an electronic cash ledger to an inactive GSTIN using Form GST PMT-09 and lacks login credentials or jurisdiction details to rectify the situation. An expert suggested requesting login credentials from the jurisdiction officer using a stamped request. Another user confirmed this method, but others reported difficulties, including uncooperative officers and unresolved issues. The original poster confirmed the issue remains unresolved due to unassigned jurisdiction, while another participant offered further assistance. (AI Summary)
