An Invalidation letter under the advance authorisation scheme has the same validity as the underlying Advance Authorization for Import; its enforceable period ends with the advance authorisation's validity and should be determined by reference to the Foreign Trade Policy provisions governing import authorisation validity. It has same validity as the validity of Advance Authorization for Import. Please check para 4.17 Validity Period for Import of the FTP 2015-2020 as amended from time to time.
