Input tax credit query

Omkar Kadam

Hi All,

At the time of filing GSTR-3B we have mistakenly claimed input as input received form ISD instead of RCM input

How to resolve above issue?

Mistaken Input Tax Credit via ISD Instead of RCM in GSTR-3B? Correct in Next Return Before September Deadline. A user mistakenly claimed input tax credit as input from ISD instead of RCM input while filing GSTR-3B. Experts advised correcting this error in the subsequent month's return. The correction can be made up until the return filed for September following the financial year of the error. The reversal should be done in Table 4(B)(2) under 'Others' in GSTR-3B, and the correct amount can be shown in Table 4(A)(3). If the correction period has expired, the correct figures should be stated in Table 6 of GSTR-9, if applicable. (AI Summary)
