GST on Blood Sample Courier Services to Korea: User Liable Under Reverse Charge Mechanism for 'Intermediary' Services A user inquired about the applicability of GST on collecting blood samples in India and sending them to a lab in Korea, acting as a courier between the two labs. The main concern was whether GST should be paid under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) in this transaction. Responses clarified that the services involved are 'intermediary' and 'courier' services, not 'health care services.' It was confirmed that GST liability under RCM falls on the service provider, and the user must pay GST when billed by the Korean lab. (AI Summary)
