DHAMOTHARASAMY Kandasamy

Dear Sir,

I was not filed GST returns From 01/07/2017 to 31/03/2019. But since only I was Know My GST was Cancelled on 31/01/2019. Can you please guide me how i can Revocation of GST.

Late GST Revocation Denied: Application Missed 30-Day Window Under Section 30, CGST Act 2017, Rule 23, CGST Rules 2017. A user inquired about revoking the cancellation of their GST registration, which was canceled due to not filing returns from July 2017 to March 2019. The cancellation occurred on January 31, 2019. The response clarified that under Section 30 of the CGST Act, 2017, and Rule 23 of the CGST Rules, 2017, the application for revocation should have been filed within 30 days of the cancellation order. Since this period has lapsed, the user must apply for new registration as no authority can override the GST law. (AI Summary)
