KG LTD Clarifies SEZ Export: USD Invoice, INR Payment Accepted; Export Benefits Apply, IGST Options Available, Refunds Possible KG LTD inquired about exporting to a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) where the customer requests an invoice in USD but will pay in Indian Rupees. They asked if their bank would accept this transaction, who would file the shipping bill, and if export benefits like MEIS/DBK apply. Additionally, they sought guidance on dispatching goods with or without IGST payment and refund eligibility. The response clarified that the bank would accept the transaction, no shipping bill is needed for DTA to SEZ supply, export benefits apply, goods can be supplied with IGST payment or under LUT, and refunds are possible.
