GST-Registered Taxpayer Seeks Clarity on E-Way Bill Requirement for Transporting Goods to Out-of-State Exhibition A participant in a discussion forum inquired about the necessity of an E-way bill for transporting goods to an exhibition in another state without intending to sell them. The participant, a GST-registered composition taxpayer in Maharashtra, sought guidance on whether an E-way bill or a delivery challan was required. One respondent advised that an E-way bill is necessary, while another suggested issuing a Bill of Supply with the E-way bill. A third respondent recommended using a delivery challan for transporting goods to the exhibition. (AI Summary)
