LUT for FY 18-19

SARAVANAN RENGACHARY

Dear All,

LUT online submission in GST Portal is available for the FY 18-19.

Please provide a clarity as to whether only online submission is sufficient or should we file off line also like FY 17-18.

please clarify.

thanks.

Saravanan.

Online Submission of LUT for 2018-19 Under GST is Sufficient, No Hard Copy Needed as per Circular 40/14/2018. A discussion forum addressed the process of submitting a Letter of Undertaking (LUT) for the fiscal year 2018-19 under the GST framework. The initial query questioned whether online submission was sufficient or if offline filing was also necessary. Responses varied, with some suggesting that online submission alone suffices, while others recommended submitting a hard copy to avoid future issues. The conversation referenced specific circulars and notifications, ultimately concluding that as per Circular No. 40/14/2018, online submission of LUT is adequate, and no physical documents are required.
