Should I surrender my GST account?

GST registration cancellation permitted when supplies originate outside the taxable territory; registrant may apply for online surrender.
A registrant earning exclusively from an overseas online platform with no income in India may apply for cancellation/surrender of GST registration, since supplies located in a non-taxable jurisdiction typically do not attract domestic GST; the cancellation process is completed online through the official GST portal and registrants should confirm absence of taxable activity in India before applying. (AI Summary)

I am earning through a website – freelancer.com (Australia based). My entire income is through this website. I don’t earn anything with in India Territory.

I was searching on Google if I am liable to GST or not and found an article.

As per this article, I am not liable even to GST but I am already registered and duly getting my GST returns Zero rated.

Dear Querist,

You are located in a non-taxable jurisdiction. Why have you obtained GST registration ? Is there any branch in India ? I agree with Sh.Alkesh Jani Ji.
