TRAN-1 FILE LAST DATE

Kamdev Senapati

Dear Experts,

Is it possible to file TRAN-1 now and what is the last date for the same

Kindly advice...

Deadline for Filing TRAN-1 for GST Was December 27, 2017; Late Filers May Seek Help from Commissioners. A participant inquired about the possibility of filing TRAN-1 for GST and the deadline for submission. An expert responded that the last date was December 27, 2017, as per orders issued in November 2017. Another expert suggested that the jurisdictional commissioner might assist if a substantial reason for the delay is provided. The inquirer acknowledged the response, and a final reply noted that although the deadline has passed, there is a slim chance of assistance from an officer, but efforts should still be made. The last date for filing GST TRAN-1 is 27.12.2017 vide Order No. 9 & 10 of 2017 dated 15.11.2017.

Jurisdictional Commissioner may help you out, if you missed the last date to file TRAN-1 provided you must show the substantial reason for delay.

Thanks !!

Sir, due date is elapsed. The chance that the officer will facilitate filing return seems bleak. However, you can make your best effort.
