User Faces Error with GST TRAN-1 Form: 'INVALID CENTRAL EXCISE/SERVICE TAX REG NUMBER' Despite Correct Details Entered A user reported an issue with filing the GST TRAN-1 form, receiving an error indicating an 'INVALID CENTRAL EXCISE/SERVICE TAX REG NUMBER' despite entering the correct registration numbers used during GST migration. Two responses were provided: one suggested verifying the numbers and names in previously filed Service Tax returns and contacting the local tax office due to potential site errors, while the other requested more details about the specific table in GST TRAN-1 where the error occurred.
