WHAT ABOUT TIME LIMIT FOR GST RETURN FOR OCT,NOV,DEC

VIJAY NANDANIYA

GOOD MORNING SIR

WE HAVE ONE QUERY FOR FILLING RETURN FOR THE MONTH OCT,NOV,DEC-2017

REGARDING MONTHLY FILLING OF QUARTERLY FILLING

FOR T/O LESS THEN ₹ 1.5 CR

PLS GUIDE US

GST return deadlines clarified: monthly GSTR 3B remains monthly; quarterly returns for small taxpayers may receive extensions. Timing of GST returns for taxpayers below the turnover threshold involves monthly payment/summary compliance via GSTR 3B filed each following month by its monthly due date, while quarterly detailed return filing for eligible small taxpayers follows a separately prescribed timetable that authorities may extend due to operational difficulties. KASTURI SETHI on Nov 3, 2017

Quarterly return for October, Nov. & Dec.17 may be

15.1.18. However, monthly return GSTR 3 B is to be filed every following month by 20 th. So date of Quarterly return may also change. Govt. Is extending the last date again and again because Common Portal is not perfect. So nothing is rigid. Nothing to worry. So look for exact date of Quarterly return only in Jan., 18.

I endorse the views of Shri Sethi. Even that date can be postponed because the glitches in the gst portal.

Ganeshan Kalyani on Nov 5, 2017

The due date is being extended frequently to give relief to assesses from the problems like GSTN issues, difficulty in understanding law, frequently changing law, not availability of GST expert etc.
