Clarification: 'Aggregate Turnover' in GSTR-1 Combines All Units' Turnover Under One PAN for Threshold, Composition. A user inquired about the meaning of 'aggregate turnover' in GSTR-1, questioning whether it relates to a PAN basis or GST number-wise, especially if a company has multiple GST numbers under one PAN. A respondent clarified that 'aggregate turnover' in GSTR-1 refers to the turnover of a single unit and excludes taxes, but all units' turnover is combined for threshold and composition purposes. Another respondent asked if the company is registered in five different states, implying that state-wise registration may affect the interpretation of aggregate turnover. (AI Summary)

Here aggregate does not mean clubbing of all five units. Aggregate turnover of single unit is to be mentioned in the return. Aggregate turnover excludes taxes. However, turnover of all will be clubbed for threshold, composition etc.
